There are three separate choices. Each one is yours (or a parent's, for a child), and you can change it at any time in the app.
1. Your profile photo
- If you add a profile photo, people in your ministries and your household can see it.
- You can remove it at any time.
2. A child's photo for the Kids ministry
- A parent can let the Kids desk (that day's Kids escala, the Kids leaders and the Lead Pastors) see a child's photo, to help volunteers at check-in and pickup.
- It is off until a parent turns it on.
3. Announcements, the screen at church and social media
- The church sometimes shares photos and videos of church life in announcements, on the screen during services and on social media.
- This needs a separate yes, in the app: Me, then Account, then Photos in announcements. A parent answers there for each child of the family. Saying no does not change anything else in the app.
- Children are never shown publicly with their name, and only with a parent's yes.
- If you change your mind, the church stops using new photos of you. Things already printed or posted before cannot always be taken back, but the church will remove online posts when it can.
